Hypoestes phyllostachya



Herbaceous perennial native to Madagascar. A compact, bushy plant with ovate green leaves  about 2” long) spotted with rose, pink or lavender.

    Indoor Light: Bright, indirect light

    Outdoors Light: Indirect light - part sun

    Size and Growth: 1-2 ft. tall, 1-2 ft. wide

    Flowering and Fragrance: Tiny lilac or pink flowers are held on spikes up to 6” long and bloom sporadically in the summer.

    Water and Fertilizer: Water when the top half-inch of soil has dried out. Fertilize once per month during spring and summer.

    Grooming: Cut or pinch back the top two leaves on each stem every week to promote bushier growth
