Grows within high-humidity forest areas Native to South America. Glossy peltate leaves with petioles grown close to the main non-woody thin stems that are partly rounded. Leaves have a fleshy succulent look and feel. Petioles and stems are usually tinged pink and red

    Flowering and Fragrance: White flower spikes with small white flowers may appear from spring-fall that grow 3" inches in height above the leaves.

    Water and Fertilizer: Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing the potting soil to dry out between waterings. Diluted all-purpose liquid fertilizer once or twice a month during the growing season

    Grooming:  Prune spring & summer - Prefer not to be disturbed in the winter months.
